At Bayou Books & Beans, we carefully curate and package each order with a little New Orleans magic. Please review our shipping policy below.
Processing Time
To keep your orders FRESH, Orders are typically processed within 5-7 business days after payment is received.
During holidays, special promotions, product launches, or high-volume periods, processing times may be extended.
Customers will receive a shipping confirmation email with tracking information once their order has been shipped.
Shipping Carrier
All orders are shipped exclusively through the United States Postal Service (USPS).
Available USPS shipping methods may include:
- USPS Ground Advantage
- USPS Priority Mail
Shipping options and rates are calculated at checkout.
Shipping Locations
We currently ship to addresses within the United States, including:
- All congruous states. Excludes Hawaii and Alaska
At this time, we do not offer international shipping.
Shipping Rates
Shipping charges are calculated based on:
- Package weight
- Package dimensions
- Delivery destination
- Selected USPS service level
Shipping costs will be displayed during checkout before payment is completed.
Delivery Estimates
USPS delivery estimates are provided as a guide only (after shipping has been processed and picked up by the carrier):
- Ground Advantage: 2–5 business days
- Priority Mail: 1–3 business days
- Priority Mail Express: 1–2 business days
Delivery times are not guaranteed and may be affected by weather, holidays, carrier delays, or other circumstances beyond our control.
Tracking Information
Once your order ships, you will receive a USPS tracking number via email.
Customers are responsible for monitoring shipment progress using the provided tracking information.
Incorrect Addresses
Customers are responsible for providing accurate shipping information.
If an order is returned due to an incorrect or incomplete address:
- The customer will be responsible for any additional shipping charges required for reshipment.
- Shipping fees are non-refundable.
Lost, Delayed, or Stolen Packages
Once a package has been accepted by USPS, Bayou Books & Beans is not responsible for shipping delays, lost packages, or stolen deliveries.
If a package appears lost:
- Check your USPS tracking information.
- Contact your local post office.
- File a claim directly with USPS when applicable.
We will gladly assist by providing shipping documentation if needed.
Damaged Packages
If your order arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@bayoubooksandbeans.com.
Please include:
- Your order number
- Photos of the damaged package and contents
- A brief description of the issue
We will review each case individually and work to find an appropriate resolution.
Mystery Boxes
Because our Mystery Boxes are carefully curated and packaged specifically for each order, shipping charges are non-refundable once an order has shipped.
